Yuu Yuu Hakusho Review

Well the fights HAVE super powers, the old comeback super blast power up or w/e, you may be saying this is a wanabe DBZ or w/e but what it has that DBZ doesn’t is that some of the enemy characters ACTUALLY have a background and their reason to fighting…yeah I know it’s crazy unlike the “I’LL DESTROY THE WORLD BECAUSE I HAVE NO MOTHER!!” reason.
Also the fights are waaaayyy more strategic than DBZ, more like Naruto. It’s not just fight, fight, and more fighting. there IS stragety to the fighting like how did he beat the enemy when he didn’t even try to hit him and then there would be an explanation on why and how he did it.
The characters are the most memorable and likeable one’s in most anime (imo) Yusuke the badass loud mouth, Kurabara (sp?) is the loyal badass loud mouth that is somewhat inferior to the main character (Yusuke), Hieh (sp?) the powerful silent badass, and Kurama which is the more intelligent sociable all around nice guy.
I suggest tremendously that you see this anime dubbed and not subbed. But try to see it dubbed and uncut, for it to be as funny as possible, Because I’ve found this anime hilarious whenever Yusuke says one of his comebacks or anything pretty much.
The music is pretty good and especially this sad song in the anime.
OVER ALL this anime is one of the best in the shounen category. It’s funny, has A LOT of nonstop action, stragetic action not just blind throwing punches and energy beams, likeable and memorable music, and characters that you will love.
This is a must see if you like shounen action packed animes.

This anime’s dub sucked after episode 34. When I tried the japanese it was much better xD so thnx for the sub! and the music is the best thing of them all! though sometimes they don’t care what tracks they use and the action can be somewhat mediocre but u’re right - much better than dbz - it’s actually a little strategic! I hate that one of the characters looks like tao from dragonball and that that doctor around episode 35 reminds me of the doctor from the 2nd dbz movie. Watch the 2nd movie - poltergeist report if u can’t get enough of yu yu it’s actually ok, the first one really sux.
yeah, i agree yu yu hakusho is much better than dbz but the dub is one of the best lol, seriously how can you complain about the dub its like one of the best ones ever -.- i’ll never understand people who complain about shit just cuz its not in japanese
