In the Land of Clow, teenage Syaoran returns from an archaeological dig excavating an ancient ruin, and is greeted by his old childhood friend, Princess Sakura. Sakura wants to confess her feelings for Syaoran, but is interrupted before she could do so.
Later, she meets Syaoran at the ruin. There her latent powers become active and wings (tsubasa) appear on her back as a mysterious person attempts to kidnap her. Syaoran prevents Sakura from being taken, but now Sakura is unconscious and her memories appear to be gone. She will die unless she can get help from the time-space witch Yuuko.
The priest-mage Yukito sends Syaoran across space and time to another universe where Yuuko resides. There, they not only meet Yuuko, but also Kurogane, a powerful ninja who was sent there by Princess Tomoyo from her universe to learn the true meaning of strength, and Fai, a powerful mage and creator of Chii in his world. He’s on the run from a sleeping ruler named Ashura.
Yuuko agrees to grant all of their wishes, but at a heavy price. For Kurogane, he must give up his sword in order to travel through dimensions in the hopes of returning home. For Fai, he must give up the tattoos that his magic comes from so he can stay on the run. For Syaoran, he must give up his current relationship with Sakura to travel through the dimensions to find the feathers of her wings which contain her memories. And Sakura, though unconscious, must give up her memories of Syaoran.
Together, the four set off with the critter Mokona, who can locate Sakura’s feathers, open doors between universes, and communicate with Yuuko when needed.

theres no season 3 and there never will be. story continues in the OVAs, hopefully they will be making more after this 3rd one comes out

i heard that they would be stopping at the 3rd one. thats sad. ’cause some things cannot be understood when the pictures cannot move/talk. and sound effects always make the story more exciting. >.<

there is a 3rd season they just changed the name to Tsubasa Tokyo revelations although only 2 eps have been realeased now waitin on more eps.

Tsubasa: Tokyo Revelations is a 3-Part Original Video Animation, meaning that it will only have 3 episodes covering the Tokyo Arc from the Manga. Anyway, I am sure that they will make more OVAs covering the remaining Arcs in the Manga in the future.

Tsubasa news:
There’s been no third season announced, so I would assume there isn’t one.
There ARE going to be more OVA’s next year - like the previous three, it’s one story, but this time in two parts. It’s apparently going to be the ‘Infinity’ arc from the manga.
To download Tsubasa music, they are available in MP3 format from http://www.gendou.com (Registration needed, but it is all entirely free) and http://tagoo.ru/?search=Tsubasa+Chronicle (Entirely free, no registration needed)
To download on gendou, simply click on the link for the song you want and select where you want it to be stored on your computer. On Tagoo, right click on the link to the song you want and select ‘Save Target As’, and follow the same saving process as on gendou.
On my laptop, they download extremely fast, but the speed will probably depend on your internet connection and speed.

This is one of my favorite animes! I really enjoyed the characters and story. I’d recommend this to anyone who likes action/adventure with a little romance. :D

The music was also interesting and helped make it more intense.

There isn’t going to be anymore episodes after Tsubasa Shunraika.. It really annoys me! :@ But you could always read the manga which has the whole story.. But its not as awesome without the moving images and music! :’(

Is there any video of the Seresu arc? Tokyo Rev stops shortly before and Shunraiki begins at the very end of it. Was nothing made for the inbetween?

there is season 3 but they’ve cancelled it . T.T
there is a petition made by fans so that they would air it . but i think it wont work . well .. im still hoping . coz . the absence of this season brings a lot of changes in the previous season coz all of this are perpendicular to the plot . HOPE THAT THEY WOULD AIR IT T.T . as i’ve heard . supposed to be . it was on april 2007 (if i’m not mistaken)

The anime stops for those who are new to watching the series. There is no ’season 3′, just OVA’s that continue the story. The OVA’s follow the manga and jumps chapters in between each set of OVA’s released, leaving a big gap in between where you need to fill in by reading the actual manga. That’s why some of the OVA’s start in a very random spot where you have no idea what is happening.

So if you want the entire story, read the manga cause it starts from the very beginning and has an actual ending that happens far beyond the OVA’s.

As for someones comment up there stating it has something to do with XXXHolic. Yes in a sense but also other anime’s as well, you will find there is far more different anime’s than just XXXHolic in there. The ending, if you can keep up with it will make the whole thing for you. Enjoy =)
