   Alright guys, ive just seen ep 6 and its basically the same time loop…for all new fans, sry, but there are only 2 eps of the season so far…eps 2-6 repeat. hopefully it will be worth something when the loop ends lol…maybe theyre doing it to get more production into season 3 and release it faster? i hope they do, because if they are only working to make it loop, theyre wasting everyones time.

    Yea it repeats, but Kyon eventually grows some balls to say something. (read the book) and then the real story starts after the summer.

    okay now this is to much, maybe the producer wanna repeat the same “breakthrough” thing like they’ve done in season 1 (where the episode is random and the last episode is not really the ending) but this is to much. no matter how good of a cake they delivered, when it’s served over and over and over and over and over again, it became just plain dull..

    yes i agree.at least on season I,i have something to watch.not just skip,watch first part and end part each esp like this ( sorry to say this but from esp 2,i ussually watch haruhi like this T.T ).anyway since i already follow it and still love haruhi,so i will watch it to the end

    ok They are doing a good job of following the book of The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya. in truth they should end in in the next ep or the one after, but after the true story starts its pretty fun. this seasons probably gonna be long that is if they follow the entire story. I hope they do there are some great scenes and you can’t end it where they probably will

    Remembering all the facts below, I´ve come to the conclusion that this is just another smart move from the producers:

    1) In these “episodes” 2-7 (and I guess the following ones too) Kyon and the others are trapped in an endless recursion of time, reliving the last two weeks of summer vacation from August,17 to August,31.
    2) The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya was originally released under the name “The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (2009)”.
    3) Japanese summer vacation began on June, 25 and ends on August, 31.

    August, 31??? Yep, that´s right…..what a coincidence that the summer vacation in this season and in real life are the same and this season was originally released under the name (2009).
    Butthis is just more than coincidence, this is really planned:
    The first loop was broadcasted on June, 19 , the last week before summer vacation started and up to now they bridging this summer vacation with these filler episodes/loops, because many viewers are travelling and can´t watch this episodes.
    It sounds like “Enjoy your vacation, you won´t miss anything important, but if you want to you are free to watch it”.

    BTW..I still hope this annoying loop will end with the next episode, but the episodes have the title “The Endless Eight” and so there might come two more filler episodes and the solution after them on August, 14.

    Episodes 1-5 aren’t season two of Haurhi Suzumiya. It is the adaptions or in other words, the newer updated version of The Melancholy Haurhi Suzumiya.

    Hmmm…Well Endless Eight has ended. I still didnt get that much into this season for some reason…maybe because i crave some storyline build instead of in the middle of the school festival? aw well, this is near where i was in the book so i guess ill watch it. Also, lordgoth, are you sure this season isnt the sighs of haruhi? cuz thats what i thought the title of the book was when they started making the movie…anyway, i expect some better things from this anime now that endless eight is over, maybe some plot development? Something that will cause me to shat brix out of pure awesomeness would be nice as well. Thank you for posting subs! my torrent comp recently has had issues, so this is how i have to view my anime now :(

    Well, here’s the problem. This series has been comatose for about 2 years, and now that’s its back we, as Haruhi fans, are no longer content with the everyday experiences that second season is producing which are meaningless to the overall story arc of the series (with the exception of Bamboo Leaf Rhapsody). After 2 years, we want progression with story arc and character development/interaction. The fact of the matter is that compared to the episodes in the masterpiece that is Season 1 which offer variety and meaningful insight in the Haruhi universe, Season 2 is so far lackluster.

    I for one am not losing interest in the series but losing hope that there will be a “disappearance” within this season. But if the new director of Haruhi is not careful, this might be the last season we will ever see.

    As a Haruhi fan, hearing episode 1 of season 2 was up felt like a Godsend. Everything felt right. You can only imagine how I felt during Endless Eight. Yes, it was horrible, but I learned to let go of it and ignore it. However, the rest of the internet hasn’t followed suit. Everybody keeps whining about how much this series sucks compared to the first season and how Haruhi should go die in a hole. It saddens me to see how an anime titan fell due to this. Personally, the series is recovering nicely after EE and people just can’t see that.

    Hey, I’m with you KCG. Though I’m not going to put a flower on Haruhi grave just yet. I still have hopes for this anime and I’m not planning to drop it any time soon just because of some sub-par filler. I am confident that Haruhi will be the anime that we’ll all expect it to be. It just probably won’t happen next episode.

    I just check on wiki for a list over eps.. and found this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_The_Melancholy_of_Haruhi_Suzumiya_episodes.. so this is a re-airing of the originally series whit new eps in it… so combine the eps here with the originally eps as the list on wiki says :) so this is nither a new season or The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya, it’s just new eps for the re-airing..

    ok these are all part of the original series there are 14 episodes in this which will add to and answer all your questions. The first ep is about tanabat, the second-9th about haruhi repeating summer over and over, and the last few r about the making of the school festival movie. Lord Goth is gicing you a synopsis of the movie that just came out in Japan. It should be subbed soon so yeah

    I enjoyed the entire series, loop and all. The sheer epicness if the finale of that loop wouldn’t have worked if I had skipped half the episodes.
    That said, I wasn’t able to watch it all in one sitting, as I did season one. *shudders at the thought of running a marathon including all of that*

    I’m looking for the Haruhi Suzumiya movie “The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya”, which I’m surprised through it already aired in February, I can’t find anywhere at all, let alone subtitled or something. Could this be…? Maybe it’s a side-effect of the series losing popularity lately. Btw, if you were supposed to give the link in this page, I can’t find it. But it would be greatly appreciated, I’m just too curious about it.
