Saint Seiya Lost Canvas Season 2 to be OVA Only
The Ramen Para Dos fan blog reports that a TMS Entertainment spokesman at the recent XVI Salon del Manga de Barcelona convention confirmed that next February’s second St. Seiya: The Lost Canvas anime series will not be broadcast on television prior to its DVD & BD release the way the first series was. The decision not to broadcast the second series is based on perception that the television broadcast of the first series was not successful, and, according to TMS European representative Cinzia Mariani, it is now difficult to convince Japanese television networks used to 26 episode series to allot space for 13 episode series.
