Lucky Star Review

Lucky Star is a slice of life anime loaded with lots of comedy and fun. It was not meant to have a actual storyline nor plot, thus one should expect it to be plain hilarious and an anime targeted to loosen up your nerves after a hard day of work.
Comedy level:
Lucky Star is one of the best comedy anime I ever seen. It may seems boring for you to watch them live their high school lives and talking just about anything but the way the characters react and express their thoughts were so funny. By adding conversation lines from other anime (for example Konata using Uguu (Ayu’s [kanon] special word)) makes Lucky Star very fun to watch. Sometimes they will also make other anime references or spoofs of other anime which adds a plus point to the comedy meter. The Lucky Channel part found at the end of each Lucky Star episode is also very humourous. Overall Lucky Star will sure to tickle your funny bone.
Character development:
Konata Izumi, Kagami Hiiragi, Tsukasa Hiiragi, and Miyuki Takara are the four main characters in Lucky Star. Each of them are unqiue and has many cute expressions. The characters were well developed and their characteristics were clearly shown. For example, Konata Izumi is really very cute and funny as she always makes funny remakes. She is an athletic and intelligent girl who loves to play lots of video games and is a big anime fan.
Songs and Music:
I just loves “Motteke! Sailor Fuku (も�?��?��?��?セーラー�?��??)” by Aya Hirano, Emiri Katou, Kaori Fukuhara & Aya Endo. This song got stuck in my brain for quite a long time and it is totally kawaii. Each ending theme is different and it is very entertaining to hear them sing different anime songs in the Karaoke box. The backgound musics were not obvious at times as more were focused on their conversations.
Graphics:
The graphics used were simple yet very cutely drawn. The style used makes each character very lovable and Moe. The opening theme is a great hit in terms of how the characters dance in their uniforms.
Overall:
A wonderful anime which helps to relax your mind and give you a good laugh.
