Plot Summary: Twelve-year old Aoyagi Ritsuka is left with his insane mother as his only family when his brother, Seimei, is killed suddenly. After moving to a new school, he meets Agatsuma Soubi, who claims to have known his brother. Ritsuka eventually discovers that Soubi and Seimei used to be a fighting pair, whereby Soubi was the “Fighter” and Seimei was the “Sacrifice”. Now that Seimei is gone, Ritsuka has inherited Soubi, who will become his “Fighter”. After learning that Seimei was killed by an organisation known as the “Seven Moons”, Ritsuka decides to investigate into his brother’s death, with the sometimes useless help of Soubi, along the way.

Very nice anime. Not alot is explained at the beginning, but you start to understand a bit more as it progresses as well as the feelings of the characters. I love the relationship between Ritsuka and Soubi, they are opposites, yet they complete each other. I would definately reccomend this to anyone looking for a tragic love story.
I saw this anime 2 years ago. To be honest I didn’t like it at beginning. I must admit that it was my first yaoi anime, and the story was too complicated. But after 3 or 4 episodes I was attracted by this. Loveless is nice anime with a good story; an anime full of mystery and with a wonderful love story…I must admit that, in my opinion, Soubi is the most fascinating character.
So…I hope you enjoy this anime as I did:D

amazing anime. i cried, i luaghed i did it all. i could feel the confusion, hurt and anger ritsuka felt, and the pain, love and emotion soubi felt. truely amazing
i loved this and i hope they make a series 2 cause i really wanna know what happens next instead of reading the manga. The ending was a bit shocking on the little boy though. :(
Ok I’m a big fan of yaoi and when I read the summary of Loveless on Mangafox I didn’t think I would like it but when I was at a bookstore I had my dad buy it for me. And I kept readin it thinking “Man, why didn’t read this sooner.” And I read until volume 3. And my friend told me that Loveless was made into an anime. I may have only watched the 1st episode but I love the series!!!!!
Why is it called Loveless?
It’s called loveless because that’s the name given to the protagonist. It’s better to read the manga first rather than watching it, so you can understand it.
