Animation: Very well balanced with brightness and darkness. The light hits people that live in this dark world. I like the lighting and how it mixes very well into this dark themed world. The character designs are new to people who aren’t too fast to jump into yaoi series(like me!). Honestly, I haven’t seen any character design similar from the fact of the eye shape and the hair but the art style in general is basic/typical anime art style. It never grows old, in my opinion, so everything about the art is 2 thumbs up!
Audio: The voices for this anime fits the characters very well and you never feel disappointed when you hear a character speak. The only problem I had with the voices was Yuiko’s voice at 1st. In the beginning she had this high pitched voice but once Ritsuka got her mind right, her voice kinda calmed down and grew on me. The music always fit the emotion and theme of what was going on in the anime, and well too! The audio A+ perfect, it deserves recognition!
Storyline and Characters: Yaoi collectors beware! This anime is extremely softcore! There is just hardly kissing! If your looking for something with sex scenes involved, then you might have to reconsider watching this because it’s not sexually graphic at all.
Honestly, when I looked into this series, I just looked at the screenshots provided on this site and figured I’ll give it a show because I was a cat girl(Yuiko). I never knew it was Yaoi and once I found out, I was just about ready to drop this before I actually started. MY friend told me it’ll help me get over my homophobic and I’m glad she told me to because I really started to love this anime the more I watched it.
The episodes are just nice and heartwarming. Episode 11 is where I knew that this was one of my favorites! There was nothing that really changed the story around but when an anime makes me smile and makes me happy to be living, then it really impresses me.
The storyline is admittingly dull at the beginning but then it goes deeper and gets more confusing, good to make you think every once in a while. The story is original as well. You have to watch the story develop to see how great it actually gets, and the cliffhanging spin-off will really have your scratching your head in wonder.
The characters are all lovable. Some start off a bit annoying but as the story goes on, they all cool down and becomes just another main character of this story. I can honestly say there isn’t one character who I hate in this series.
This anime overall is worth watching for all anime fans, even those who don’t find pleasures out of yaoi. With the story of Yuiko and Ritsuka and the lesbian relationship deep in the story, there is enough to keep everyone happy. Please give this anime a chance! It deserves it!

this anime is great!!!! i loved it even though it was weird at first…..since it was a boyXboy but in the end it was very heartwarming and there should b a second season cause well we never found out alot in the end.
i think i rated this like seven times, lol. i do think this animes is kool.
but it seemd ppl forget about it easily…..
