I really love this anime but the story is kinda sad (not totally sad i mean ciel’s past is sad O3O) and full of mysteries. Oh well its not yet finished, it’s better to keep my hopes up. The ending might be very good.
Really great anime, good story, tragedy, sad, interesting, mysterious.
Recommended , Totally.
5 STARS. (:
I loved this anime. I really wished it wasn’t over, but you can always read the manga. I would tell everyone i know to watch it. WATCH IT!!!!!
I thought that Kuroshitsuji was lacking in terms of characterization. They’re so one dimensional, you know? Ciel is somewhat of an exception, but otherwise the characters fit molds perfectly. Sebastian is the perfect but evil butler, Meyrin is the clumsy maid… For each character, one short phrase describes their personality completely. Because of the flat personalities, the plot is also somewhat lacking. I mean, it’s not bad, but I don’t think it’s excellent either.
I’m not saying don’t watch Kuroshitsuji, though. The art is WONDERFUL, the music is TERRIFIC, and the fashion is GORGEOUS. I can’t say that Kuroshitsuji is the best anime I’ve ever seen, but I still love it. It’s one of those animes that is really easy to become obsessed over.
First 5 episodes 3/5. Plot 4/5. Music 5/5. Character style 5/5. Sebastian 1000000/5. =^.^= Ending 5/5. Overall 5/5 (somehow..including that 1000000)
I have to say, that I enjoyed this anime immensely. Although, I can understand the flatness of the majority of characters, I believe that the relationship between Ciel and Sebastian makes up for it in its own masterful way. As humans we are blindingly weak and we try to make up for this with a degree by trying to hold our individualism - also, in the fact that we try to become more then the animals that we see as under ourselves, some high handed way of saying that we are the best species because of this or that. Yet, it shows us, that we are after all, simple animals, following behind on a leash forever with the masters that lead us. We are… chained.
Aww this anime is one of my favorites! The manga is so much better though =) …. Even so i enjoyed the anime =D I loved to watch the characters como to “life”! The sound and music was perfect and the animation beautiful! 10/10
If you like tragedy, then this is an amazing series. Very cool music, Sebastian is THE hottest demon EVER. (I wanna hear him say, “Yes, my Lady,” to me… *Shiver*) Also, if you have a dirty mind, then innuendo is everywhere. I would like to see more things resolved, though, I guess that’s the manga’s job.
I heard of a sequel/second season-ish thing- anyone confirm it? If so, please please PLEASE tell me where!!!!
