Plot Summary: Infinite Stratos (IS), a weaponized exoskeleton system, has become the dominant tool of warfare and conflict. Unfortunately for the men in society, only women are able to operate Infinite Stratos… with very few exceptions. One of those exceptions is ORIMURA Ichika, an orphan raised by his older sister who is herself a famous IS pilot. When his compatibility with IS is discovered after he accidentally touches an IS at the age of 15, he’s given a scholarship and enrolled in a school that specializes in training IS pilots. Which of course means an… intersting life surrounded by girls for this shy, unassuming boy.

as it says in the wiki (which can be edited by anyone sady…) the manga / light novel the anime is based off of is still printing and they just started to make this anime air on January 7, 2011 in Japan. this means a few things.
1. not able to watch every episode or read all the manga as they are still printing new ones.
2. from what it looks like according to the manga / light novel and anime episode titles the anime is based off the manga and as said before not all of them are out yet!

I don’t even know why I’m so impatient, but I still can’t wait for the next episode! It angers me ’cause I don’t know why, but it doesn’t matter; I still can’t wait!!
honstly since the quake, im not sure if they will be airred on the time that was said or if at all. after all, they are more worryed about the plants from melting down, the goverment is at least( I would hope anyway.) after being hit by a 9.1 or a 8.9 quake and then a tsuami they have many more issues to worry about than fun time. but I know the feeling of why it angers you. it is because you want to watch more and can’t watch the next ep. because it isn’t out yet.
Due to the problems in Japan I have no idea if anime is even airing right now since everyone is worryed about the plants melting down along with recovering and trying to find loved ones.

who cares it got delayed, its a piece of crap harem derpsterpiece.
Railgunner did you actually watch watch it to see if it was a crappy anime? I hate it when ppl “judge a book by its cover” without ever watching,reading,etc it.
Of course I watch something before I splatter my opinion over something. In fact, the “cover” of this anime, so to speak, actually appealed to me. Thats partially why Im dissapointed in Infinite Stratos.
Lordgoth is there season 2 for this???
At now i haven’t heard any news about season 2 yet. But there is a high chance that it wont have season 2 ( just personal opinion )
Very nice and Entertaining anime. It’s definitely fan service, but I found this to be quite humorous and I really enjoyed it.
An OVA was announced for release in november
so typical they make som good series and then they stop making or they go for books insted personaly i like em on tv makes it more fun and even have a good blast of laugher and even be able to feel with em like in a good movie i realy injoying IS-infinity stratos never seen a better movie it seams i understand the plot
An ova is out starting today it is not translated (duh) yet but normally anime put ovas out to see if the show is desirable and it was 1st in the sales of DVDs and Blueray season 2 has a good chance of coming also the anime only got about 4 volumes of the visual novel. (this comment is so long) :)
A very typical harem anime. The oblivious super nice main guy with women after him with different backgrounds. With that said, it is still a very enjoyable due to the great battle scenes (extra frames involved so very flowing). There could easily be a 2nd or 3rd season. I’d recommend.
