   This is an altogether surprisingly lame anime.
   There is the pretention of a story, of character developement, of humour, and there’s even a putative historical background. Nonetheless, and despite the writers seemingly get themselves entangled in this their own febrile framework (and do not look too bright at it) towards the end, that’s what it is: a framework whose only purpose seems to be to provide the skeleton for a maximum of female underwear (I suggest introducing the term: PantiesPerSecond, PPS), wobbeldy-bobbeldy, oversized beasts, and various patches of skin.
   I mean, what’s the fucking point? Jerking off over pictures of stuffed, more-or-less unscathed undergarments? Not that there is anything wrong with masturbating, of course, and whatever stimulus it takes is fine, as long as nobody gets hurt. But just don’t pretend that’s anything you can make an interesting story of.

   well, I’ve watched everything of ikkitousen… I kind of have to agree… the ripping of clothes in every single fight, leaving the girls half-naked most of the time… it gets on your nerves after a while. I was still able to endure it all since it was still a fighting based anime. And I kind of enjoy watching fights…
   I can’t say this anime is great and I wouldn’t recommend watching it either… But I also can’t say I regret watching it, lol.
   And well, at least all the girls looked good, despite the story not being that great either.
   I would recommend watching the special episodes though, hahaha… They only came out on dvd, but I’m pretty sure someone put them all on veoh (with subs).
   Oh yeah, some parts of ikkitousen were funny, but it was far too scarce.

   The clothes ripping gets old fast, but if you ask me its more of the character developement that is fun and interesting to watch espesially Hakufu’s stupidity xD
   I loved this first season, it has a reasonable storyline and focuses more on the interesting parts of it, season two however adds a whole lot of new characters and changes alot of the fighting style it did come out like 4 years later, but if your going to create another season it better be along the lines of the first one, it spesifically anoys me that they focus on so many diffrent characters which is really unecessary.

   character development? They’re all blank characters with a few basic determinating characteristics. I wouldn’t really go as far as saying there’s actual character development.

    well, i think ikkitousen was quite a great anime :p ofcourse you need to prefer watching huge breasted females fighting, and as a matter of fact, i did like it. Probably a whole bunch of guyz agree with me, but wont say it here. Besides the nudity, i also found some moments funny, some fights were awesome, and the music is surprisingly fabulous. I’ve been hearing ikki tousen music for a couple of days now, and still aint bored with it one bit.
    This anime can definately be recommended, although i whouldn’t recommend it for people under 14 or something like that. Especially season 3 gets really echhi.

    dont waste your time with this lame anime go watch tengen toppa gurren lagan or code gease or somtin i can gaurentee if you looked you would find a new anime to watch thats better than this junk

    I’ll be honest. This was my first anime and I thought it was awesome. Watched the next season and blew this piece of garbage out of the water. I think the next season has a new director and it has a different animation style. But, you kinda have to watch this season to understand a little more what’s going on in the 2nd season. 3rd season is only a little better than this, but no where near as good as the second one. It just increases the boob shots with actually nudity instead of like a bra/ripped shirt/covered because of screen. Then I watched Gurren Lagann which pretty much gave me a new meaning of life. So basically watch the second season. Best out of the three. (All IMO)

    Well… i have seen ikki, it was alright, i just dont like how they dont rip all their clothes off!

    if you want nudity, highschool of the dead is starting to make things nuder!
