   This anime has everything. Romance, action, school girls, fanservice, guns, nerds with guns. Oh and zombies. Hecks ya. I give this Five stars right off the bat.

   Well, I was pretty disapointed, that the girl and that guy went romantic just a few hours after he killed her boyfriend and his buddy. That could have waited at least one episode and wouldn’t have hurt anybody.
   Like that, its way to obvious.

   The main characters also lack a common human feature: panic.

   The rest was good though. But I really would have wished, they made this anime a serious type and not a color- and cheerfull lovestory in a zombie world.

    I read the manga(most of it) before and I think this is awsome ! For Lagerhaus_Jonny, you’ll see later that the main character really is human ;) but… the story between rei and takashi is cute ^^

    Absolutely amazing watched it all in one sitting and loved it. Defiantly going on my favorites list. I just hope there is a second season to this because that wasn’t an ending. That was a freakin cliff hanger.

    This is great.　A great anime. It shows what human are and how human are capable of doing….. But what bugs me most are the weak mentality and the ignorance of humans that is shown in the anime, such as they are still humans although they are clearly an undead. Oh man,come on, din they watch enough zombie movies to realise that the people are already zombies? If they had realised and willing to accept the fact that a zombie is in front of them, then the situation could had been better… I think. What is “not to kill them, they maybe just sick and they can be cured.” Come on, they are all covered in blood. Most important, even after surviving while looking at those “people” killing others like nothing you still want to negotiate with it? Come on, get real, be rational. What amuses me most is how the human race actually handle such situation. It reminds me of Residen Evil and Umbrella Corp. I wonder HOW will WE really HANDLE THIS WHEN THIS REALLY HAPPENED. Last of all, I changed my view on the power of mass weapon of destruction—– ZOMBIES ! All you need is a few zombies that go around biting and converting people that are ignorant and not willing to accept facts and act quick and think fast to survive. It spreads like a disease.

    I dunno how to feel about this anime. I couldn’t take it seriously at all, so every serious moment in here didn’t do anything. Maybe I could have if there wasn’t a panty shot or oversized breast shot every 5 seconds. I think this anime had a chance to go really far with the idea, but let it go to waste. I really did not like the OVERDONE fan service. If I really wanted all the sexual overtones I could look at porn….. but I must also say that the action scenes in this anime are bad ass and that’s what kept me watching.

    H.O.T.D is the Best anime show ever.. its lk the only anime ever to hav zombies! i love this show for the blood, gore, the action, and the beautiful school girls and the awsum guys bashing sum skulls in! XD!!!!!!! Cant get enough!

    @Gothax…..as of right now there’s no confirmation that there is a second season….the author has barely put out any chapters of the manga, it’s currently at chapter 29 and the company that was doing the anime decided suddenly to stop producing it right when episode 12 came out cuz the first time I watched episode 12 they had a preview to episode 13, but then when I heard the anime series got canceled, I looked for the preview for 13 again and it wasn’t there.

    I would love another season of HOTD but at this point I doubt it’ll happen unless the author really steps things up and gets more chapters of the manga out…it sucks having to wait 3 or 4 months for the next chapter cuz chapter 30 won’t be out until May :(

    I just watched the whole series all of the way through, and I’m honestly going to say that I was a little disappointed with the ending. I don’t know how I feel about it ending abruptly and without us getting to know if Takashi and Rei’s parents are okay…AND whether he goes with Saeko or Rei…personally, I’d like him with Saeko…aaanyway, aside from the ending, this anime was pretty kickass! Plenty of fanservice and zombie destruction :3 Love when they plow through the masses and show the bodies go flying. And omg, chubby is a mega Otaku but totally kickass with a gun :)

    The anime itself is awesome. One of the best I’ve seen so far.
    The OVA (Drifters of the dead), however, was LAME!!! Waste of time!
    No action, no zombies, no blood no nothing. Just boobs boobs boobs.
    Booooring.
