I think a few more episodes should have been added onto this series. Not quite sure what happened with Akito etc…. Does the manga have a more detailed ending?

Tohru can make anybody into a nicer person and open their heart T‿T This anime is great. <3 The only thing that surprised me was that when Kyo was in his true form, I expected for Tohru to have to hug him when he was like that, and then that would end the curse for him, or maybe even everybody. You know, to show that the Juunishi people are capable of being loved. And then the cat would be accepted into the zodiac. Ay luffs Kyo!

omg. Thats it!? atleast it ended happily, sorta. i was expecting Kyo to kiss her, brake the curse for everybody, but oh well. i heard the mangas a bit better, hmmmmmmmmmm. Is there a 2nd season? (: Too bad,i liked this anime. Oh well.
I think the manga is much much better. I read the manga before watching the anime and liked the anime pretty well up until these last few episodes…I’m wondering why they ended it so soon? I really dislike this ending in comparison to the manga’s.
awww. :( the manga is way way much better than the anime. kyo and yuki didn’t tell her ‘anything’! oh well, animes from mangas are like these. they either cut it or do something differently to end the story. i love you kyo. :D

You have got to be kidding me. THIS is the *end*?!? That SUCKS! The magna was so much better…….. Why did they end it so quickly, I wonder? Ah, well. At least it was happy…ish. All in all, it was a good series. I wish they would continue it, though.
I know the end of Fruit Baskets, and that is not the end. It has not yet finished making them in English yet, but i think that they are going to make another season.

There is no continuation of this series and there never will be. The person who sings the songs died, and the people that produced the show got into a disagreement and yeah…I wish it would continue but sadly it shall not. I love this. Watched it in English. Now finished it in Japanese. It is absolutely wonderful!!! <3
(Note: just because the person who sang the song died doesn’t mean they can’t use the song. And even if the production team got into a disagreement doesn’t mean this show can’t be headed up by another production team. In general you shouldn’t be so quick to conclude that’s the reason this ended.)
It’s more of a financial and advertising move. Most animes show the complete manga series in action but this was a smart move that will interest viewers to read the rest of the manga (along with buy the whole collection) and also enjoy the anime feel of it.
