   It’s true it’s a bit gory, but that only adds to how good this show is! The plot isn’t completely obvious I think and it has a few surprises for ya. The animation and the music are amazing as well. There’s quite a bit of naked characters running around too, just as a warning or bonus points for any of you out there.

   Am I the only person to find this anime boring? Before the bashing begins, here me out. I never really cared about any of the characters except Nana and the whole series was just a bunch of naked people (seriously find some fucking clothes) running around trying to kill each other. And the end…wtfh was that….*sigh*. Btw the whole incest thing with the two fucking cousin…what? o_0

    Right, well for starters about the slagging of “nudity” that is to symoblize that humans have excluded them from not being human but yet animals (monsters) as humans are the only animal to wear clothes and the gore, well…omg do you slice someones head off an expect to be like a little cut god. calm down much? Also, and also its not a “bunch of naked people” only Lucy(Nyuu) was nude, until Nana later on. and when she prods her breasts thats ment to enphazise her purity and innocene, so before having a pathetic view on the name look at it from a different point of view.

    Denz (if you haven’t found it yet) you can find it on veoh(the OVA of Elfen Lied). I do admit, that’s probably the most funny episode (since the rest creeped me out, though a still good anime) and it’s kind of like ep. 10.5, though I found it as ep 14. Also, the ending… that was creepy! How’d the clock start to just magicly (sp?) move? So many questions…

    The anime won’t load for me but if the ending is the same as in the manga, Lucy is dead, she melted. As for the people waiting it looked like twin Diclonius probably related to her though.

    This is a really good anime. It is really gory though. I would recommend this to anyone who is not offended by blood/gore, or nudity.

    I love this anime! Apparently on this website I came across, you can submit a petition to the person who created it and if he gets enough signatures he will create a second season! It should start out right where it ended. With a close up on the clock starting.

    Lots of people seem to love this anime and I can’t really figure out why. The animation itself isn’t very polished and the script writing needed a lot more work. Just average for me.

    This anime is with no doubt in my top 3 animelist.
    Haven’t watched the manga yet but it will come to that later.

    This anime is the best I have seen. I’m buying the complete collection. Episode 12 was intense, well the end of the episode. I absolutely adore this anime it’s so different not like anything I have seen before, I wish they would keep this series going. I wander about Lucy becasue I’m pretty sure that is her at the end of episode 13. I would however, have liked it more if the charecters were a bit more clothed, but I guess it goes with the whole story who knows.

    The best Anime i’ve seen.

    Good story line, no filler, there’s an actual ending, not just trailing off because they ran out of money, good characters, even the opening song is great.

    Dude, nothing more gayer then getting torn apart by vectors by some cold naked chick while working the night shift and u have a light smg XD Awesome story but even better combat play XD blood, knives, guns and butts… but on a serious note its very complex and sad …still friggin dope!!! XD 5/5

    I really don’t understand what’s so great about this anime. It’s depressing. All of the characters seem to be absolutely miserable. There’s also a ridiculous amount of violence and blood.

    technically there is nothing wrong with marrying a cousin since they arent of a direct ginetic line of you, meaning there wont be much ginetic destruction. but heres a point that i find wierd. why is incest so frowned upon nowadays? more than a 100 years ago, incest was not such a big deal. a brother could screw his sister or cousin, sometimes their own mother and they wouldnt give a shiet. and the bible as well. god made adam and eve who had two sons, kane and abel. kane killed abel and then the next chapter there where humans populating earth. what does that mean? it implies that kane and adam took turns reproducing with eve to make the human race. meaning we all are brothers and sisters. so technically when you get together with that stranger… it means your committing incest with your brother o.o and look at ancient worlds and gods. poligamy, incest, everthing declared wrong and “inhuman” these days where around about 100-200 years ago and no one cared. the question is… who decided everything that is labled wrong in this world? have any of you watched the show on national geographic channel called taboo? well it has a good point. things declared by the “civilized world” as taboo… to other cultures is life. and also just because we say it might be wrong… doesnt stop people from doing it. the difference between now and 200 years ago is… people dont like to know how cruel and sinister this world really is. so they try to change it. hell, i bet, if there wasnt a public outcry to try and catch people doing these sorts of things… there probably wouldnt be laws against it. but…. that doesnt mean if i hear or see a little girl gettin molested by a pedofile… im just gonna say… “what the hell, thats life aye?” ima go up to whoevers doin it and punch him in the face and beet the living daylights out of him. lol i know thats a contradiction what i just said but. i want to find out what happened to the world to make things wrong or right, who decided and what not, know what i mean?. i havent gotten that far though.

    I freaking love this anime!! I hate that its so short and wish that it would have a second season, but it is simply amazing. It has everything in it- sadness, violence, romance, action, gore, etc. I fell in love with the simpleness of Lucy when she was nyuu and how innocent she was, and well it was just an amazing anime. #1 on my list :)
