   A simply amazing anime series ^_^

   However, is there any chance of getting the movie uploaded, even though it isn’t exactly anime? (Death Note the movie is a live action movie rather than animated)

   Otherwise, great series, one of the best I’ve watched.

   i wasnt keen on the ending as such, but rarely am with anime, that said the series itself was so good i dont care :p
   its rare a killer is made out to be more then simply a bad person… if hollywood doesnt steal the concept of this show ill eat my hat

   great anime=D but the end was lame… to easy for this anime… the whole serie is about think before you do something and the end is just crap( don;t wanna spoil the end:P)

   This is truly a brilliant series. The intelligence and wit involved is amazing, the writers must have put a lot of thought into it. Most of all though, the characters were developed really well. And there are many psychological aspects to it… I can relate to Light in many ways ( view of society, justice, deception, determined, intelligent, adamant)… but it goes to show anyone can be corrupted by power or moreso by their own beliefs.

    i love this series..!! especially Kira-tono..!! i even read the manga..!! soo nice..!! but the manga and anime has some difference..!! i lyk L too.. he’s cute.. but weird.. lol

    hahaha I know right, I love L. Hes my bby! Kill me though I like his weirdness, it makes him stand out. Then again its only an anime series, proly one of the best. Alot of people I know don’t rlly like all the battle of wits in this series, more than action anime. I can say its only peoples preference which it is, but its kinda a pain in the ass ya know. Death note is the fuckin best and will remain on my number 1 slot for a long time. Love light, hes sexii but evil. I am most deff in love with L, I wish they would’ve revealed his real name, which kinda sucks. Anyway thats my little two cent input. If ya like battle against wits and brain, this show is deff for you. And some occasional juicy deaths! hehehe

    hwy i heard there was a 38th episode special 2 hour with the death gods showing unrevealed scenes ( looked this up on wikipedia ) if its subbed or w/e can u find it plz LG? ty

    One of the best series I’ve seen - though I don’t like the changes they made to the ending. I liked the way the manga ended better.

    Great anime…
    Has a nice story with several twists in it. It’s definitely worth to watch in my opinion.
    There were a couple of things I didn’t like (mainly some things that occured in the story, although I wasn’t a fan of the music/songs in it either)… but to each it’s own and I won’t be the one mentioning/spoiling them.

    BEST FREAKING ANIME EVER TO BE MADE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i LOVE Light…hes evil but soooo HOT xD L is cute but waaaay too weird for me xD i absolutely loved the entire thing i have read all the Series too and there are some differences but i love it!
    i loved it all an even though some people didnt like the ending its the only way it could have ended! im sorry i wish he… well i wa about to spoil the ending…Oops xP well WATCH IT!! I COMAND YOU TO WATCH IT !!! again and again and again and again!!!

    Spoiler warning::::

    The show should have ended when Kira killed L. Despite the final 2 episodes being very well done, the pacing was off the rest of the show after L died; and it concentrated on characters that were not important to the overall story. The focus should have stayed with Kira vs L, and not brought in the little faggots N and M. Additionally, the ending would have been better IMO if Kira won, it would have fit the tragic downfall theme better with the anti-hero winning. Besides, Kira was better than L anyways. All Hail Lord Kira.

    My favorite anime that has ended. The only thing i tis competing against is Black Lagoon, and Naruto Shippuuden, and I do not think either of those could pass Death Note. Death Note is the only anime with a good ending I have ever seen, not counting School Days because that is different…

    One of the BEST mystery/psychological anime’s ever. Hands down.

    What I loved about the story was the characters, and how real they were. This whole story simply blossomed because of that fact. They felt like human tools the author was using to test humanity; a science experiment of sorts. And this experiment, only made possible by the authors obvious knowledge of the human heart became a masterpiece. Not to mention the absolutely stunning artwork, both in the manga and anime.

    I absolutely would give this a ten out of five in a heartbeat. lol

    This is the most hooking anime I’ve watched since DN Angel. I still haven’t finished it yet, but I’m trying to get all my friends to watch it, too. ^.^

    When L dies, the storyline kinda does, too. But Near and Mello take his place (in a way). But after L dies, Ryuk is undoubtably my favorite character. XD
