Plot Summary: Sakura Kinomoto was an ordinary 4th grader until the day she opened a strange book and let dozens of powerful magic cards loose on the world. Keroberos, the Guardian of the Clow Cards, informs Sakura that it is now her responsibility to find and capture the freed cards. I think Cardcaptor Sakura was my very first anime. It was either this or Sailor Moon. Lol If there’s anything I have to say about CCS is that it is a MUST WATCH. It’s like the staple food in an anime diet. What I loved most about CCS was that it felt like the foundation for all ‘Magical Girl’ series to come and best of all, it captured everything good about it.
It has action, it has drama, it has romance, and most important, it has magic. You follow Sakura as she’s taken on this amazing journey through a world that can only be imagined in your dreams. It’s not the animation that really captures you, it’s the plot of the story and the depth of the characters. As you watch the anime, you find yourself thinking back on your childhood fantasies about becoming a mermaid or being able to have wings and fly. CCS captures that all. I only have good things to say about this anime and even though it’s long, it’s worth watching and buying. Don’t rush through it either, enjoy each episode and relish in the magic.
Don’t forget the movies either. There are two in total and I recommend both, the 2nd movie especially. ;)

wAZup TRUST ME this anime is the best ull see…. its my all time fave.. so good u cant even put into word u just gotta see it to understand lol
angelgurl, why would any one want to watch dubed anime? essecialy anime dubbed in english. most of the voice actors suck, and i mean all the english ones, those that choose what voices go with what character must be deaf, they never match up to the character’s personality, it’s all bland and emotionless, not to mention, “LOLLYPOP!” the way they bastordize to story to make it ’sutible’ for the new audience they choose to market them to.
Once more another time around watching this LOL! But I love the plot!!! Even though it seems similar to any other magical girl show I think this one is the best! Kero-kun and Tomoyo-chan are really really funny now that I’ve watch it more to noticed, i love Sakura’s and Li’s reaction to when Tomoyo makes a huge deal about not filming! CCS IS THE BEST!!
