The ending is okay. Not how I wanted it though. I mean come on Toya only gonna live just a couple a years or more and then Yuhi can have her!?! I would have like to see Yuhi end up with Chidori. And Toya and Aya together either in heaven together or on earth something like that. Oh well it could have been a lot worse

But I have to agree with butterfly, it could have been better. I would so much rather see Chidori come back to life and Toya live happily ever after with Aya, instead of dying so soon…
But as butterfly stated, it could have been MUCH worse. I cried when Toya died…*sniffle…But then it gets better again…lol…i Like ALOT

but i would be better if everyone would have a good life in heaven or something like that..
I cried hysterically when Toya died.. that was beyond frustrating! I was quite relieved when he came back, but the ending!! At least it leaves it open to the possibility that he would continue to live. He doesn’t know how long, or how short a time he has.. so here’s to hoping and dreaming of my own after-series! After all, he’s human now! So, perhaps he ages like a normal person now…… :-(
Overall, an amazing series! It takes a lot to get me hooked, and this one did it on the first episode. The characters captured me, and the story-line moved me. I felt for each of the characters… Beautifully done.

This anime was great, but not my favorite. Is it bad that when Aya was stabbed I thought “finally!”? I never thought that Toya would come back to life, but I’m glad he did. Ish. I was frustrated about Chidori. So, so frustrated. But I still give this anime a 9.

I watched this all and slaved away from episode to episode.
Nothing really happens! Such a disappointment. Each episode is like a trailer for the next.
I knew he was the ‘robe’ from the first time they mentioned it, and the whole ‘you have seven months’ deal was so obvious.
There was no.. ‘flare’. It was so commonplace and predictable. Not once did I go ‘Oh my god, I did not see that coming!’
To me, it was more like a 2. Good story, but it needed… more. It was very linear, whereas I like my anime to be complicated and multi-stranded. This just went from A to B very simply. There is so much more they could have done with this, and so very many other ways they could have told the story.
It’s a 2 because I liked Toya, and the story was ’satisfactory’. Everything else was just unneeded and unnecessary.
I don’t think Toya is going to die, I don’t think that’s what he means. I think he is saying he doesn’t know when he is going to die. (No one really does.) but when he does he wants Yuhi to watch over Aya, because what Yuhi is suppose to just wait around for Toya to die? What about Yuhi’s own life. I mean yea, maybe he is so inlove with Aya that he won’t try looking for another girl to love, but I don’t think that’s what this means. Toya doesn’t know when he is going to die, but you have to think about how many injuries he sustained through out this series. A body is never the same after so much has happened to it, but like I said I think he is just telling Yuhi when he does die, he wants him to watch over Aya, not as in like be her lover or anything like that, I mean I could be wrong, but that’s how I see it, because in reality (well not reality because this is anime, but still haha.) Aya could die before him. So just saying, there is more than one way to take this ending. But does anyone else get mad that they never let you see the baby!? I mean what the heck? In Inuyasha which is not the same as this anime but still I wanted to see Kagome and Inuyasha’s babies too, even though she wasn’t pregnant, it’s assumed that they stay together right? Oh well, maybe next time, haha.
This is anime is incredible. For me its very unique. I thought it would be the same story like some animes but i was wrong. I cried a lot when Aki shot Toya many times. It makes me crazy but I was relieved when I saw Toya with wings floating in the air. haha. Good thing, I’ve watched this anime. When I watched every episode, I’m getting nervous about Toya. I LOVE THIS ANIME.
I can’t agree with anyone who said they should have lived happily ever after, it would have destroyed the story altogether. I enjoy things that reflect on how life can never be perfect, otherwise it’s unrealistic in a way I felt this was :c
OK FINE MY THROAT HURTS EI…waaaaaa…i love it…except the part where toya says that his not gonna live that long…wanna think that they’d gonna be old together..lol…well yeah its just an anime but..i was totally captured by it..toya and aya love 4ever..
