Episode 5 was the best so far.
Not only it was very funny at first but FINALLY Otonashi spoke with Tenshi aka Tachibana.
I waited long for this, as I wanted to know whats up with her, since the first episode.
I was overwhelmed how cute she was, when she held onto Otonashi as he tried to leave the room.
To see her wandering around after they did that exam-prank to her made me sad :(
I can’t wait for the next episode. Of course Otonashi will make friends with her, I’m sure of it.
this anime is great to those wondering it has some romance and trajadey in it aswell its not just action and supernatural PS on last episode make sure you watch all of it theirs a short clip after the credits i Reccomend this seriese to anyone 4.9/5

This anime was amazing
the animation is really good and storyline is original starts out as a comedy but its definately a weepy the last ep is just too sad
i would reccomend this to everyone its kind of like clannad in terms of its genre but condensed into half the length 5/5
its been a while since i’ve seen a decent anime. This series was great, good story, and something that can make you think about life.
This anime is very very good, there’s so much i want to say about it but so little space and time. It’s 5 am here and i’m still watching it so excuse my bad english. I recommend this to anyone it’s very good.

this was a really good anime. It’s sad because I think they could’ve done sooo much more with the idea, cuz its a really good idea… or at least made it a 20 episode season… or something! :’(. The last episode is a big tear jerker not going to lie. 4/5. 1 point for awesome. 1 point for genius idea. 1 point for episode 13. and 1 point because of awesome characters. no 5th point because it was missing some necessary elements. I still highly reccomend!!!! :)

the last episode really made me cry.
he was left all alone in that world full of NPC’s that you even cant talk to.
it’s show the meaning of life gift , unnstopable love , and how precious life can be
Highly recommended! The first episode was a little boring to me, but as the story develops, it turns out that each character had pretty deep stories, especially Otonashi O.o his story was really emotional. Last episode was epic as well, and I bet most of us here is hoping for more episodes or another season XD
Another season would be so cool but like most great Anime’s it must come to an end sadly and there is nowhere the story to continue. Sadly we will never see these characters again :(

Very interesting anime. The anime takes turns and twists that you wouldn’t expect. The genre changed frequently, but each change is used to develop a different concept or plot.
Each character is uniquely made. The graphics are really good, and it really shows how Cutee the girls are. The OVA demonstrates a specific character trait of each character. The characters that was developed with a background story had a very touching life. Some of them really reflect how bad people in this world are. It really makes you think about life, and consider the idea of better one’s self. The ending was really touching, Kanade and Yuzuru’s relationship was a great twist, and it really is a small world; a great way to reacquaint love.
Kanade > Yui (Close second, I just love her attitude) > Yuri.
The music is very catchy too. The theme song was really enticing, and had a nice beat to it. The ending song was a bit more mellow, but it reflects a good concept from the anime. It wasn’t horrilbe, but it wasn’t great either.
There were a few concepts that really intrigued me. The manufacturing of fire arms and the creation of Tenshi’s abilities were really interesting. Also, the concept of reaching fulfillment and reincarnation was interrupted in a well thought out manner.
Overall, the twists, turns, and changing genres kept me on my toes, and added a nice touch to the anime. The amazing character developments, background stories, and personalities are great qualities toward the anime. As for the genre changes, the comedy is very humorous, the romance is really touching, the drama reflected in the background stories is tragic, and the action is full of amazing concepts and guns.

Great anime but not better than the world god only knows
wow I absolutely loved this anime. It was really sad, really happy and really exciting. I didn’t think much of it at first but I’m happy I decided to watch it to the end because it is a very good anime. I would recommend it to anyone who likes anime that are sad, deep and anyone who like a story that is well thought out and new.

OMG, :’( in Angel Beats Another Epilogue OVA he is still in that crappy school. :’( how come?!!! this is not fair on him :’( sooo sad. :’(
The given genres and plot summary are quite misleading. I expected to see more action and less drama in this anime. Though i still finished watching it, because this show isn’t very long, and the comedy + great animation pretty much makes up for it. It wasn’t bad, but I probably wouldn’t watch it again. 3.5/5
P.S. The epilogue kinda ruined it, in my opinion. I think it should’ve ended the way it did in episode 13.
