Tokko Review
Nov 8th, 2008 by lordgoth
Music: 8/10. Unremarkable ending, decent opening that grows on you. The drama music was acceptable.
Story: 8/10. Story starts at a good pace but gets interesting around episode 7. There is a hidden plot being revealed but so far the bad guys have been ‘predictable’ till around episode 10 when the story becomes juicy. I did not like the uncessary fan service, it’s just a cheap way to get you to watch. The series was abruptly stopped at episode 13 and left a lot of questions (sounds like a second season might happen.) Either way the interest in the story continues.
Character Design: 9/10. Some characters are pretty typical, but those were the side characters. The main characters have their own unique styles and personality, which made the story enjoyable. There is absolutey growth and advancement in character, as people die and unexpected changes happen in some of the characters. The antagonist picks more picture time around episode 10 and you start forming good/bad feelings about him/her.
A good series to watch. Reminds me of Elfen Lied but is no where near as dramatic.

…….Lord goth….u dissapoint me :P
I ussually trust u but w/ this series u fucked up big time on ur review. I watched this on AniMonday on sci-fi and of course dub sux but also i realized this:
Plot sucked, characters sucked, animation sucked (but like u said i do like the atypical design), i hated the muzic, etc, etc. Y u liked it is beyond me.
@Error Report each people have each opinion ^.^! as you saw, some other still like it :))
PS : dub ? i thought i posted this series in sub ?
He just meant it is in dub on sci-fi.on mondays they host anime.theres a dub on this 1 and i already saw it. I did like the show some of the time.gory and a bit mysterious. And the music did suck but i thought the animation was okay. story sucked to be honest. seemed to be bouncing up down and all around really. it’s an okay show but there are a lot better ones around.
